Stacy Lee Drake, the Alabama man wanted for three homicides and two carjackings in Oklahoma, was apprehended by authorities this morning in Morrilton after a three-day manhunt that started late Tuesday.

Arkansas State Police, the Conway County Sheriff’s Department and Morrilton Police Department arrested Drake, 50, around 10 a.m. this morning near the intersection of University Boulevard and Poor Farm Road, according to a state police press release.

State police put out several phone alerts yesterday warning that Drake had been spotted in Morrilton and was assumed to be armed and dangerous. They released several pictures of Drake and advised anyone who saw Drake to immediately call 911 and not approach him.

Drake is being held at the Conway County Detention Center.”
