Little Rock police responded to a call about a shooting on the 2400 block of Pulaski Street at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, where officers found a man with gunshot wounds.

Authorities took the man, who has not been identified by the Little Rock Police Department, to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Homicide detectives have started an investigation into the shooting, and no potential suspects have been named.

This was the 14th homicide in Little Rock this year, according to the LRPD, which is four fewer than at this point last year. The police department’s official count does not always include every killing within Little Rock city limits, depending on the circumstances.
