The Arkansas Supreme Court declined today to review a Court of Appeals ruling that then-Public Service Commission Chairman Ted Thomas didn’t have to recuse from a rulemaking proceeding on solar power.

Petit Jean Electric Cooperative Corporation appealed the decision. The Court of Appeals found no evidence of bias in the handling of solar power rules opposed by the co-op and largely approved by the PSC.

The request for review was denied without comment, except that Justice Karen Baker would have granted a review.
